As the name suggests the Octane Stretch has been designed as a fast and light piece, it only weighs in at 297g, so it's sure to be a hit when those spring showers descend. The jacket uses Berghaus' AQ2.5 waterproof fabric, which has been designed with fast moving activities in mind, when something lightweight, breathable and packable is the call of the day. So pretty much any activity you might find yourself working up a sweat in, it should perform admirably, great news for all the runners, cyclists and fast hikers out there!

Working our way down the sleeves the jacket has asymmetric cuffs with hook and loop cuff tab adjustment so you can personalize your fit to an extent, along with a drawcord hem adjuster. Pinpointing the packability of the jacket is also comes with it's own stuffsac, so it can be stored away easily or packed away in your rucksack when (fingers crossed) the sun decides to shine.
When the Berghaus Men's Octane Stretch does arrive in stock there's two colours to choose from, a vibrant Electric Blue and a more relaxed Slate Stone. It'll cost around £119 and we're expecting our first drops around March, so keep those eyes peeled for it!
