The North Face All Terrain Triclimate jacket takes the classic North Face All Terrain Gore-Tex jacket and combines it with a fleece inner jacket.
The All Terrain jacket has long been a staple of the North Face range, an all-round Gore-Tex jacket suitable for most activities up to hill walking. If you're looking for something a little more serious, the Primavera is more technical and suitable for mountains (this comes in both shell and triclimate versions). The All Terrain has all the features you'd expect from a day-to-day jacket such as cinchcords, tricot lining on the collar and in the pockets, a double storm flap and an adjutable hood that stows away in the collar. The only thing missing is the pit-zips for ventilation, which is a little strange as they're available on the cheaper Amplitude triclimate.
The inner fleece jacket is nothing to write home about, but looks okay and is reasonably comfortable and warm. The Heatseeker inner from the Primavera or Amplitude is a little warmer, but possibly not as comfortable.
The All Terrain Triclimate stacks up well if you're after a good quality waterproof with an attachable inner fleece jacket and don't want to spend the money on buying the jackets separately. The only real advantage of this over the other North Face Triclimates though is the Gore-Tex shell fabric. Useful if you're going to be exercising, otherwise you may be better saving a little money and looking at the Amplitude or even the Evolution Triclimates.
