Review: The Vango Icarus 400

The Icarus 400 was the best selling Vango tent in 2010. It's a simple to pitch, flysheet first structure, with generous living area and well proportioned sleeping areas, make the Icarus ideal for weekend camping with friends and family.

The tents flysheet uses Protex 3000HH and the groundsheet has a 10,000HH, giving it excellent waterproofing and breathability. It features clear PVC windows to ensure plenty of natural light can make it's way into the living and sleeping quarters. For lightweight durability the Icarus 400 uses Powerflex Poles, ensuring they stand up against tough winds without adding extra weight.

There's privacy to be had in the Icarus with a part mesh inner door and roll back dividers to seperate the living and sleeping areas. The windows also have internal curtains to make sure you get a sound nights sleep, which is always welcome after a long days worth of adventuring.

Other handy features the Icarus 400 includes are; vango pelmet, lantern loop, storage solutions and a zipped cable entry point.

The Vango Icarus 400 Tent costs £143.99 and sleeps 4 people.
