The North Face Inlux Insulated Men's Jacket - New for Autumn/Winter 2008

The North Face Inlux Insulated jacket is a cheaper, watered down version of the new Insulated Varius Guide jacket, also from The North Face.

The Insulated Varius Guide jacket is aimed directly at the ski market and aims to build on the success of the Varius Guide. The Inlux Insulated jacket is basically a HyVent shell jacket with 60g of heatseeker insulation, providing a reasonably warm, waterproof jacket. This is going to be suitable for skiing if you're not expecting it to get too cold! A really nice feature of the Inlux is the addition of sherpa fleece over the inside upper back and shoulders - really nice and comfortable and also adds a bit more warmth.

There's a removeable hood and pit zips, so some technical features, but no snow skirt, which is presumably another of the places they've managed to save the £40 difference in price.

A useful ski jacket that could also be used as a waterproof in cold weather, at a reasonable price.
