Sneak Preview #20: The North Face Women's Gotham High-Rise and Jozie Boots

I know, I know, the sun's out and we're expecting more of it over the weekend, so you wouldn't have thought now would be the ideal moment to start another Autumn/Winter 2011 Sneak Preview, but theres no harm in being prepared, especially as we're expecting another mightily harsh Winter this year.

So without further ado here's two new North Face Boots that will be hitting the selves in a few months time.

The North Face Women's Gotham High-Rise Boot is a rather colourful affair (if you opt for the multi coloured style that is). It's a stylish, baffled, over the top calf boot with convenient bungee lacing. It also features a lovely and cosy down fill that provides lightweight warmth in the city or at the resort.

The Gotham has been made with a durable, water resistant, 100% recycled P.E.T. ripstop upper, so snow drift and other elements will shed off with ease. To help keep the wind and cold out the boots feature a handy stretch knitt cuff upper which fits variable leg shapes. These boots don't just perform well, they're more than comfortable too. They come with and ecoOrtholite footbed and an injection molded EVA midsole. To ensure your feet grip to slippy surfaces as much as possible the Gotham has IcePick temperature sensitive rubber pods for that extra bit of traction.

The Gotham comes in three colours; Shiny Black, Shiny Tonal Grey and the splendid Shiny Multi Colour.


The North Face Women's Jozie Boot is a native inspired style which manages to blend technical and trend-right features. The upper has been made with waterproof suede for protection against the wet and damp and for plenty of durability. To ensure your feet are kept warm, whatever the weather the Jozie's have been given 200g of Primaloft Eco insulation.

The Jozie is another stylish number with an adjustable faux fur cuff and a medial zip for easy on and off. It also features a Northotic compression molded internal drop in midsole with three quarter length shank. For underfoot stability the Jozie has a durable TNF Winter Grip rubber outsole with IcePick temperature sensitive lugs.

The Jozie comes in two classical colours; Rope Brown and Demitasse Brown.
