The week in football and Coleman Weekend tents

So it's Champions League week again and it's time for the Semi Finals. Schalke vs United last night was a rather one sided affair, the gulf in class really was on show! Maybe apart from Neuer in goal and Raul upfront, who we all know has that extra bit of quality needed in European tournements.

Tonight see's Madrid vs Barcelona, another El Classico, always a firey game with no prisoners being taken. My best pal up at Uni a few years ago was actually from Barca, so I've always fallen on their side rather than to the White of Madrid. Hopefully it'll be another humdinger, but I can see Barca coming through it over the two legs, some of the football they play is just too good to be true.

Continuing on the football front, the Blue Square Premier Playoffs have now been confirmed (not really exciting news unless your a Luton fan like myself...). Afc Wimbledon will play Fleetwood and the mighty Luton Town will play Wrexham, that is unless Wrexham fail too pay 200k worth of tax by Friday, in which case they'll be expelled from the Playoffs and create absolute havoc in how to proceed. A place in League Two becons, let's just hope it's for us!
