Keeping warm during football matches

Andrew writes:

So the weather's getting a bit nippier and those dark nights are drawing in. Winter wear is never more needed than now. Especially for those, like myself, who travel the length and breadth of the country, in all conditions, following their football team. Don’t get me wrong I love visiting every ground, old and new, but when your away at…lets say Chesterfield, on a freezing cold Boxing Day afternoon, you soon realise your going to need some quality clothing to keep yourself from getting frostbite. And I think I’ve found that quality piece of clothing. It’s the North Face’s TKA 100 Glacier ¼ zip. You don’t have to break the bank to own one and you can fit numerous other layers underneath it to keep you toasty.
So far its kept me more than warm at home games and just this Saturday away at Kidderminster. It’s perfect for wearing out and about, we had a nice stroll around Kidderminster town centre in blustery conditions and I hardly felt a thing. So far I’ve worn the glacier to two away games, and we’ve managed to come from behind to win both of them, lucky or what? Actually on second thoughts, its nothing to do with luck, we’re just a quality team (cough). Bring on the Altrincham on Saturday, I’ll be wearing my TKA Glacier with pride.
