More Haglofs Products!

Continuing our introduction to Haglofs, here are three more key Haglofs products:

The Oz pullover is a really unbelievably lightweight Jacket! Made with Gore-Tex Paclite, Haglofs have really gone to town on reducing the weight and bulk and have still produced a fully waterproof and breathable jacket. While not as effective as a Gore-Tex Performance or Pro shell mountaineering jacket, the Oz is probably the best lightweight waterproof on the market. It really is that good! It doesn't have loads of technical features other than those that shave the weight off, so it's perfect for good weather if you want something to stuff into a daypack in case of rain or for the sports enthusiast who wants to travel light.

The Kaza pullover takes the Oz even further into lightweight territory, but isn't waterproof. It's made with Haglofs' own Performac fabric that is windproof and water resistant, so it should keep off a light shower with no problem, but will let persistant rain through after a while. However, this is ideal for most seasons in the UK if you're not expecting really bad weather! Again, no technical whizz-bangs, just a simple windproof that tucks into its own pocket and is incredibly lightweight at 150g!

Lastly, but by no means least, is the Spitz Jacket. This is Haglofs' top-end mountaineering jacket and this one does feature all the technical whizz-bangs! Made with Gore-Tex 3-layer Pro Shell, it's made to cope easily with the most extreme weather and the roughest terrain. The hood is fully adjustable and helmet compatible, there's reinforcement in key areas such as the shoulders and arms, the zips are all waterproof and there are plenty of pockets. On top of all that it looks great too! The Spitz has been picked as the jacket of choice for mountain rescue teams across the UK due to it's functionality and robustness and we'd have to agree with them; as top-end jackets come this has to be one of the best. It's quite often in short supply as Haglofs don't manufacture many of them, but we generally have stock of the most common sizes.

Currently, we're only stocking the above 3 products in men's variations. If you'd like a women's version of any of these, please give us a ring on 01582 575 222 and we'll see if we can special order them for you! Again, as with all Haglofs products, they are produced a little on the small side as they're supposed to be a technical fit. If you're in any doubt, always go for the large size!
