For our first AW14 Sneak Preview we're going to have a look at a completely new waterproof, The North Face Men's Peak Guide Jacket. The Peak Guide has been made with a 2L Gore-Tex Performance Shell, for superior waterproofing and good breathability throughout. It comes from The North Face's 'Explore' range, so you know the jacket will be more than capable in a variety of terrains. The jacket has been adorned with 2 front alpine style pockets, ideal for slipping away an ordnance survey map and other documents you might need on your person.
The Peak Guide features pit zips, allowing you to self ventilate as you go if you feel like your in need of a bit of a breeze up your torso. Pocket wise the jacket also comes with 2 front exterior pockets and 2 front interior pockets, so finding room for accessories and essentials won't be a problem with this jacket!
Moving up to the hood, it's got a wired brim for a tad more rigidity and protection when needs be, plus it's also adjustable and stowable, so it's easy to fold away when the weather turns in your favour. On the end of the sleeves you've got molded cuff tabs, allowing for a more adjustable, personalized fit and there's shockcord adjustment at the hem.
This is perhaps one of the earliest Sneak Previews for a season we've done yet, so early in fact we havn't even placed the forward order yet! So we can't confirm exactly which colours we'll be stocking. But we're fairly sure it's going to be from the colours above, which from left to right are; Snorkel Blue/Cosmic Blue, TNF Black/TNF Black and Rage Red/Cherry Stain Brown.
