Over the coming weeks and months we'll be bringing you sneaky peaks at what to expect for the Autumn/Winter 2012 Season. We're going to be covering all your favourite brands; The North Face, Haglofs, Rab, Berghaus, Merrell, Bergans and Jack Wolfskin as well as welcoming a few new additions to our range like Keen footwear.
Last season we kicked off with North Face, this season we're giving the opening slot to Bergans. Brand new for Autumn/Winter 2012, let's have a look at the Bergans Women's Isfjorden Light Insulated Jacket.
The Women's Isfjorden is a lightweight jacket, weighing in at an impressive 310g. Don't let it's lightweight makeup fool you mind, it packs a punch performance wise. It features 60g of Primaloft One insulation, one of the highest performance insulators currently on the market. The added bonus with using a synthetic fabric like Primaloft (especially useful in the UK) is that it carries on insulating even when wet so if the Winter is as wet as it has been over the last few weeks, you'll be sorted! The Isfjorden also uses Pertex Quantum for featherlite durability. The use of Pertex fabrics also help with the jackets overall low weight and minimal packing volume, so much so the jacket can be folded and packed into it's own integrated compression pocket.
Moving on to some of the jackets other features it includes two well sized front pockets, ideal for storing smaller essentials in and an inner pocket, perfect for safely storing your more expensive items. For a secure and flexible fit the jacket has elasticated cuffs, as well as thumb holes to stop the arms riding up, which can be rather annoying when it's exceedingly cold out.
The Bergans Women's Isfjorden Light Insulated Jacket will cost around £125.99 and we're getting it in stock in two colours; Navy/Dark Tulip Pink and Light Amethyst/Amethyst.
We're also getting the Men's Isfjorden Light Insulated Jacket in as well (images to follow) in Navy/Neon Green and Sea Blue/Light Sea Blue.
