Sneak Preview #8: The Yellowband, Wiseman and Stones Insulated Parka's

We're on course to have the hottest day of the year today according to the Met Office, not that we've had much to judge it against of course! I know the sun's out and I know people are trying to formulate plans for their summer holidays, but why not take a break from those brochure's and have another peak at what to expect from The North Face this Autumn/Winter.

Let's go forth and start with the Yellowband Parka. It's a new one for next season and although it's a Parka it's slightly shorter than some of the others that have come before it. It uses the ever faithful Hyvent, so you know you going to get great all round weather protection and plenty of breathability to match. It's seam sealed, has a fully adjustable and removable insulated hood and it also has it's own detachable faux fur for extra warmth. It features two snap down chest pockets, bicep pockets, two hand pockets and a security pocket, so theres numerous places to store all your goodies. The Yellowband has a 550 fill goose down fill.

The Men's Wiseman is a longer Parka compared to the Yellowband. Again it uses Hyvent for excellent waterproofing and breathability. The Wiseman has Primaloft Eco insulation for a smashing bit of warmth, plus, having been up close and personal to Primaloft in it's original form I can tell you it's damn light as well! The Wiseman comes with all the essentials; adjustable hood, two hand pockets, internal media pocket and a bicep pocket.


And finally we've got the Stone Sentinel Insulated Jacket. It's another detachable faux fur affair, just to give that little bit extra protection from the wind and you never know, snow. It's using the Hyvent waterproofing system and has a goose down fiill of 550. It also features a fully adjustable, removable hood, chest pockets, chest pocket and an internal security pocket. The Stone Sentinel also comes with self adjustable fabric cuffs for a precise custom fit.
