Following on from our Camping Range blog yesterday we thought we'd take a closer look at one of our newest recruits to our tent range. The Vango Ark 300 DS is brand new for this season and having seen it in the flesh earlier this week we're certain it's going to be a hit this Summer.
With it's easy pitch tunnel style and sewn in groundsheet it only takes around 5 minutes to get it all up and raring to go, cutting out the stress and leaving more time to relax and go and check out your surroundings. The Ark also has colour coded poles for ease of pitching so you might not even need to break out the instructions! It features a Polyethylene 10,000HH inner tent and groundsheet so there's no need to worry about the damp and wet finding itself into your quarters. The Ark comes with orange guylines for extra visibility, so when the evening comes you won't find yourself tripping over your own or other peoples tents.
The Ark 300 comes with large windows to ensure plenty of natural light finds it's way into the tent's living area so you can relax and watch the world go by. The inside of the tent includes a fair number of handy little features and additions. It's been equipped with inner tent pockets to help store all your accessories and a lantern loop. The part mesh inner door helps with ventilation, so on those hotter days you won't be overheating.
Now we all know lugging a tent around the campsite isn't much fun, so to start with the Ark 300 DS only weighs in at 4.100kg and it comes with it's own handled carry bag, so that trip from the car to the field isn't going to break any bones or tear any muscles.
As well as being a fantastic option for a smaller group on the campsite, the Ark 300 DS is also compact enough to be a great addition for any festival goer, so if you did choose to catch a bit of shut eye, you'll be safe in the knowledge that you'd get a comfortable and dry night's sleep after a long day of music!
The Vango Ark 300 DS Tent costs £80.99 and we currently have it in stock in the colour Black/Treetops and we might have it in stock in the Treetops/Wild Dove later in the season, so check back with us if greens your thing!
