New: Gregory Outdoor Packs, Rucksacks & Backpacks

We're delighted to announce we have another fantastic rucksack brand on board in the shape of Gregory Packs. Founder Wayne Gregory founded his first company, Sunbird, in 1970, with a goal to produce advanced external frame packs. Unhappy with the limitations of externals, he dissolved the company in 1973 and began working as a freelance designer (sleeping bags, tents, and technical apparel) for a number of companies in the newly emerging outdoor specialty industry. Intrigued with new directions in soft packs and internal frame concepts he decided it was time to get back to his first love, designing backpacks, and in 1977 Wayne founded Gregory Mountain Products in San Diego, California. Wayne made sure to be meticulous in designing packs that improved fit, used the best material available and performed the best while out in the field.

From the earliest days, Gregory packs were noted for innovative design, ergonomic and comfortable fit, and their obsession with quality, comfort and durability continues today. We've currently got 9 packs in stock and we're going to have a small gander at one in particular today, the Gregory Z35 Daypack.

Prussian Blue

Featuring CrossFlo DTS Suspension the Z35 now carries and fits better than ever before. The built in raincover ensures you'll never get caught short while out on the hills when the rain clouds come calling. The pack uses 210D double diamond ripstop and 330D nylon oxford flatweave giving it optimum durability. Spec wise the Z35 features a front stuff pocket, very handy for storing things away while on the move. There's a top pocket with key clip and a second stash compartment underneath. It has a single axe/tool attachment point and a top stash pocket and expandable front pocket.

Iron Grey

The pack has side and bottom compression, ensuring all your gear is neatly packed away into the smallest bundle possible. There's also side mesh pockets with compression pass through. All in all Gregory Z35 weighs in at 1.300kg and costs £89.49. We've currently got it in stock in two colours; Prussian Blue and Iron Grey.
