Sneak Preview #10: Mountain Equipment Men's Concordia Jacket and Eclipse Hooded Zip Tee

How time flies in the outdoor world, one minute your preparing the systems for Spring/Summer, the next your welcoming in your first drops of Autumn/Winter gear! We've already seen our first major drop of The North Face land a few weeks back, and most other brands are following suit, starting from pretty much now! We've already brought you nine AW12 Sneak Previews thus far, so it's about time we added a tenth! Without further ado, methinks it's time to give Mountain Equipment the Sneak Preview treatment!

The Mountain Equipment Men's Concordia Jacket is completely new for AW12. It's a midweight full zip fleece jacket made with Polartec Thermal Pro High Loft, giving it that oh so soft, oh so warm and oh so stroke-able texture. The Concordia has also been made with Pontetorto Technostretch inserts, giving it a good amount of flexibility, making it ideal to wear for more dynamic sports. It has flatlock stitching throughout, for supreme next to skin comfort and an active cut with pre-shaped sleeves.

The jacket features a reversed YKK centre front zipper and two spacious napoleon chest pockets, giving you ample space to keep accessories and maps a like. The double layered stretch cuff promotes user comfort along with added warmth, helping to eliminate any pesky breezes from riding up your arms. The adjustable drawcord hem also allows for a customizable fit.

The Mountain Equipment Men's Concordia Jacket will cost £79.99 when it arrives into us (fingers crossed over the next month or so). We've got it coming in the colour of Graphite/Shadow Grey and it weighs in at around 425g.

Also due in over the next month or so, we have the Mountain Equipment Men's Eclipse Hooded Zip Tee. It's been designed as a technical base or mid layer for Winter and alpine climbing. Like the Concordia Jacket it also features Pontetorto insert fabrics, giving it plenty of stretch and flexibility, crucial when out on more testing and exerting terrains. The Eclipse Hood has also been given a polygiene anti-microbial treatment, helping to cut down on those nasty odours that may occur when your moving at a faster pace.

The Hooded Zip Tee has been made with an active cut and pre-shaped sleeves along with a close fitting lycra bound hood with face protection and offset closure. The use of flatlock seams throughout ensures fantastic next to skin comfort, giving you the option to use it as a base layer if you choose. The tops offset front zip gives it modern looking aesthetics and an option to ventilate when needs be. It features one napoleon chest pocket, perfect for keeping a smaller map hidden away.

Because the Eclipse has been made with the active user in mind it also features seam free hips for comfort of use when wearing a harness or pack. It also has low bulk cuffs with integrated thumb loops. The Mountain Equipment Men's Eclipse Hooded Zip Tee will cost £79.99 and weighs in at a lightweight 355g. We've got it due in two colours, Light Ocean/Navy Blue (as shown above) and Shadow Grey/Black.
