Something For The Weekend #2

Photobucket

I might have told a little unknowing fib in the last Something For The Weekend article, we will be bringing it to you every Wednesday, however I was off yesterday so it's been postponed until today (the best laid plans of mice and men and all that...). It's not exactly the most glorious of days weather wise, but we'll battle through regardless!

A couple of worthwhile events caught my eye this week, non more so than the Real Food Market at the South Bank Centre, London. If your into your tasty treats, then this ones for you! It was launched last July and has been taking place on the first weekend of every month ever since. The whole concept is to give people the opportunity to purchase fresh, high quality and affordable products that have been carefully sourced from over 40 real food producers. You'll be able to take your pick from delicious cheeses, fresh fish, delectable cakes and much, much more!

Due to it's success (and the fact most people do weekly shops, not monthly) from May this year the market is now being held on a weekly basis, so you can really get the most out of quality produce. Theres plenty of time to fill your shopping baskets, Saturdays the market is open 11am - 8pm and Sunday's 12am - 6pm.

Not into that? Try this...

If that isn't the icing on the cake for you, then never fear there's always something else to take your fancy. This one looks fantastic fun for the family and should be a real treat for the kids. Why not check out Dinosaurs At Large up at Chester Zoo. They've got 13 life-size and incredibly life like animatronic Dinosaurs paying a visit for the summer! You can go and get up close and personal to all your prehistoric favourites, including Allosaurus, Apatosaurus, Dilophosaurus and of course who can forget Mr Dinosaur himself, T-Rex! Their set to stay right up until the 8th October, so there's plenty of time to get down there and meet them.

(Grrrrr...Ahem)

Very apt considering whats going down at Chester Zoo this summer, our product of the week is the LittleLife Toddler Animal Daysack.
