New Merrell Winter Footwear for Autumn/Winter 2009

Our chosen selection of Merrell shoes have been an outrageous success over the Summer months - despite the interchangeable weather! - so we had no qualms about expanding our stockholding to include some of Merrell's finest winter footwear - expected from August onwards.

One we are particularly excited about is the Men's Outbound Mid Light Gore-Tex Boot. Not only is it a stunning looker (especially the red colour) but is completely waterproof and breathable, not only because of the Gore-Tex casket construction and Performance Comfort lining, but also due to Merrell's smart intervention of a breathable padded bellows tongue. Not just built for breathability and comfort, the Outbound Mid also benefits from an abrasion-resistant heel and toe bumper - and the all-important Vibram sole!

For snug winter comfort and protection from the elements, the Snowmotion 6 Waterproof Boot ticks every box. Benefiting from both Polartec and Primaloft insulation (with Aegis for odour control), wearing these in even the coldest UK weather won't freeze your feet off. The boot is completely waterproof and designed specifically for trudging through snow. Along with an ActiveHeat insole and Coldproof Ortholite insulating footbed, Merrell have pulled out all the stops in ensuring a chill-free boot for, with our online discount, under £100.

If you're a lady walker looking for an all-rounder that can also be used in the Summer months (with much thinner socks!), the Chameleon Arc Mid Traveller is a great looking, water resistant shoe for walks and light hikes. Made from a combination of full grain, Nubuck and suede leather, the boot has a fantastic and stylish feel to it, as well as retaining the material's breathable and weather-resistant qualities.

Don't forget, as the Summer months wind down, we at OutdoorKit have added a good few footwear items to our sale - click here for great half-price deals on boots and shoes.
