Berghaus Cornice II IA Jacket

The Berghaus Cornice jacket is a classic. A full-length jacket made from 2 layer Gore-Tex makes it a must have for any walker, serious or casual. For the ladies, please note that the women's version is called the Glissade. It's almost identical, just cut to fit a women's figure better.

The Cornice comes with an InterActive zip system (hence the "IA" in the name), which means you can easily zip a compatible fleece into the jacket. The best fleeces to go inside are the Berghaus Spectrum and Berghaus Activity, they both fit perfectly and will keep you nice and warm in cold conditions. The fact that you can zip in the fleece, means less hassle when putting on/taking off the jacket and also stops it from riding up!

The jacket itself has a stud-closed double storm flap to keep out even the heaviest rain and the Gore-Tex will also cope with this! The rollaway hood with stiffened peak and volume adjuster is really useful as it can fit any size head and doesn't flop all over the place due to that stiffened peak. The lined collar is a great feature as it really improves the comfort of the jacket in cold weather - zipping it tight against your neck isn't cold and unpleasant! It also has hook and loop (velcro by another name) adjustable cuffs allowing you to control fit and ventilation, which comes in very handy if (like me), you can't stand having cuffs flapping around your wrists.

The Cornice has two zipped hand warmer pockets and one internal zipped map pocket, so there is loads of pocket room for everything that you'll need. The jacket comes with elasticated waist and drawcords to provide a snug fit, so that you can keep yourself looking smart and that little bit more technical.

This jacket has consistently been a best-seller for ourselves and Berghaus for the last ten years and we anticipate this to continue! Available in 5 colours, S - XXXL.
