In the words of Bob Marley, "sun is shining, the weather is sweet!" It's been absolutely glorious these past few days. Ok I'm currently sat in the office, but that still doesn't mean we can't stare out the windows and admire the rays belting down! Plus we couldn't have asked for a weekend with better weather, hope everyone managed to take advantage of it without catching the sun too much? I headed out to my favourite place locally, the rather exquisite and picturesque
Ashridge Estate. Not that hundreds of other people didn't have the same idea, but it's more than big enough to have a walk around the trails and forest without it ever feeling crowded at all.
Above is a shot taken from Ashridge looking down at the village of Aldbury, the photo doesn't do the view complete justice unfortunately! Another advantage of heading out of the city/town to places like Ashridge are the abundance of lovely 'proper' pubs, we headed over to the
Bridgewater Arms just round the corner near Little Gaddesden, plonked ourselves in the beer garden for a view hours and basked in the sunshine. We were scorched, so goodness knows how
Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic felt going at it hammer and tongue around centre court and
Wimbledon!
In other news closer to home, we're starting to gather a rather eclectic range in our
Sale Section!
