Everest with a Sausage Roll

Lend your support to Iain Fuller who serves in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps. He was injured in Afghanistan in March 2012 when he was run over by a suicide bomber, breaking both his arms. After recovering to a good extent he has set himself the challenge to climb to Everest base camp all in aid of Help For Heroes. The charity was launched in 2007 and was set up to provide direct and practical support to wounded service personal and their families.

You may be wondering why Iain has chosen the title 'Everest with a sausage roll' for his challenge. He was strolling through Camp Bastion munching on a sausage roll when the suicide bomber hit him. He thinks his survival was partly down to the fact he had his hands up while eating the sausage roll directing the impact straight on to his arms rather than his head or any other major organs.

Training for the climb has now begun, so any support and donations would be fantastic. Don't forget as well all donations are going straight to Help for Heroes. If you would like to make a donation to Iain's page, please follow this link. http://www.bmycharity.com/Everestwithasausageroll
