Summer Sandals - Three of the best

The weathers had a few ups and downs over the past couple of weeks. We've had nights of unbearable humidity and days of torrential rain, which has seen some pretty desperate scenes in towns and cities across the north of the country. Admittedly you'll probably get the best use of them when jetting off somewhere exotic, but on those occasions where socks and trainers are just too clammy, you can slip on your sandals and roam where you please!


The North Face Men's Hedgehog Sandals

The Hedgehog Sandal is equally at home on wet or dry land, making it fantastically versatile for varying terrains. They've been made with a water friendly, synthetic nubuck upper and SBR linings. They feature three points of hook and loop adjustment at the forefoot, instep and heel, so you can personalize your fit. The Hedgehog's also come with a removable heel strap, so if you don't need the support, simply remove it and hey presto it turns into a slip on, ideal for the beach or beside the pool. On to the more technical specs, the Hedgehog features a molded EVA midsole with X-2 footbed cushioning for supreme comfort and shock absorption. Underneath the sandal has an exclusive HydroTrak sole, with water channeling and sticky rubber for increased traction on slippery surfaces.

Like the Hedgehogs the Kahuna III copes with wet conditions with ease, so whether your by the poolside or wading in streams you'll be secure in the knowledge they won't let you down. They've been made with a pig suede upper, have a neoprene lining and feature a antimicrobial solution to help stop the build up of bacteria. An external TPU heel arm equips it with plenty of stability. Below deck, the Kahuna has Merrell's own Air Cushion in the heel for optimum shock absorbency. The Vibram Chameleon Sport sandal sole gives the Kahuna added traction and stability, giving you the confidence to explore any terrain you fancy.

The Teva Men's Obern Sandal

Last but not least we have the Full Grain Leather Teva Obern Sandal. The leather fabric gives them that classic rugged look, as well as equipping them with plenty of durability if you happen to venture out into more challenging terrains. The Obern features 3 points of hook and loop adjustment for a customizable fit and has a 'Mush' infused topsole for an ergonomic fit and supreme wearer comfort. Inside the sandals have an injection molded TPU shank for extra stability and a compression molded EVA and PU Midsole for unsurpassed shock absorbency. The Obern has been finished with a Spider 365 sole, helping to hold it's grip in all sorts of environments.
