I realise most people are still getting their heads round the Spring/Summer 2011 collection but we're never stagnant here at Outdoorkit, always looking ahead!
And for that reason we're going to be running an AW11 sneak peak section on the blog, giving a little insight into what to expect over the Autumn and Winter months.
The first item we're featuring in the sneak peak section is The North Face Nuptse 2 Jacket, which is exclusive to only The North Face's top accounts, so we're delighted to be getting it in. It's running alongside the original Nuptse Jacket but there are a few keys changes.
One of the major differences is the baffle setup. The Nuptse 2 has an extra two rows of baffles to make for a better spread of down and to help eliminate those pesky cold spots. The image above gives a little taster, although the colourways will differ slightly, with the arms being the same colour as the shoulder baffles.
Other handy little specs the Nuptse 2 will bestow on us include that fact with it can be stowed in it's own hand pocket, an excellent feature for those wanting to travel light. On the subject of lightness the Nuptse 2 now weighs in at 690g, nearly 100g lighter than it's older brother! It also has elasticated cuffs compared to the original Nuptse's velcro cuffs.
The North Face Nuptse 2 Jacket (which can be viewed from this link when we have it in stock) comes in an array of colours including; Scottish Moss Green/Asphalt Grey, TNF Black, Asphalt Grey/TNF Black, TNF Red/TNF Black and last but not least Boulder Blue/Deepwater Blue. Plenty of choice there methinks!
