Snow goggles for all

The Oakley Ambush is one heck of a snow goggle, it really does elivate the entire concept of the snow goggle to new heights. I've just this minute taken it out of the box to have a gander at it and the first thing that really hits you is the sheer lightness of the goggle, it looks as though it should be at least twice as heavy as it is. In fact the box could well be heavier than the item that is layed in it!

Oakley certainly don't beat around the bush with this one. It has an anatomical fit which has perfectly balanced and articulated strap clips that cleverly equalise the pressure. When you feel yourself getting a bit sweaty the triple layer fleece foam wicks the moisture away. The goggles chassis venting is at a maximium and the dual lense design has been enhanced with anti-fog treatment, so there will be no need to invent snow goggle window wipers any time soon.

The Oakley Ambush has been constructed to take a fair bit of abuse and its EN 1938 impact rating ensures it withstands it all. The lens has been made from a scratch resistant Lexan material which blocks out dangerous UV rays giving you ultimate protection. The Ambush has been purposefully designed to provide optimum comfort for small to medium sized faces. Theres some more than favourable reviews here on buzillions.com.
