Arriving with us soon, perhaps as early as next week, we have Barts Winter Accessories to look forward to! The Barts story all kicked off back in 1986, when founder Bart Koene started to study at UTS Clothing. During a placement he reached for the sewing machine and started to make his own line of beach shorts. Travelling along the french coast, he managed to sell his entire stock in just 6 weeks, with even Elton John buying himself a pair! Six years on and Bart expanded into the realm of bandana's and accessories which started to get the brand out in the public domain. In 1992 the brand Barts was launched in the Netherlands.

From his home in Amsterdam, Bart began to turn his attention to hand made Winter Accessories, offering beautifully designed, high quality products that weren't going to burn a hole in people's pockets. Over the following years the brand grew and grew, branching out into scarfs, children's wear, technical gloves, thermal underwear and socks, resulting in the move to several new premises to accommodate the growing demand.

The entrepreneurial spirit of Bart himself and the enthusiasm and drive of all who work for Barts has been the key to the company's success, ensuring it's continual growth year after year.
