Sneak Preview #22: The Mountain Equipment Women's Cho Oyu and Archangel Jackets

It's flippin' lovely out there today! Shame we're inside at the moment, but I'll take full advantage of it after work methinks. Obviously with it being around 30°C it's prime time for showcasing what we're expecting in from Mountain Equipment for the Winter.

A bit random you may think as your sitting there sweating buckets, but there's genuinely so much exciting stuff coming in for the Autumn/Winter 2011 season that there's no time like the present to show it off!

The Mountain Equipment Women's Cho Oyu Jacket is based on their legendary Annapurna design, this ones ideal for high altitude and polar use. It's been made with a Drilite loft outer, which makes it totally windproof and water resistant. For all the insulation you could ever need it has 382g of 90/10 Pure Down. Theres a box wall baffle construction throughout and Polarloft padding on the shoulders to resist compression. Other features include; a fully adjustable zip off helmet compatible hood, fleece lined collar, chin guard and an internal mesh water bottle holder. The Cho Oyu comes in Enamel Blue (as shown) and Black.

Next up is the Women's Archangel Jacket. It's a technical midweight fleece most at home in the mountains, providing high levels of warmth and dependability in cold conditions. The Archangel has been made with Polartec Thermal Pro and classic fabrics. The Jacket features a grown on adjustable hood and YKK centre front zip. It has an active cut with pre-shaped sleeves, making it ideal for those wearing when on the move. Theres 2 hand pockets to store away all the little essentials and a single offset chest pocket. The Archangel comes in three colours; Pacific Blue, Black and Dark Cranberry (as shown).
