Sneak Preview #5: The North Face Men's Snowdonia Insulated Parka

Why have cotton when you can have silk...well, this isn't silk exactly (or at all) but it is a fully waterproof AND fully insulated winter coat. The North Face Snowdonia Parka uses The North Face's Hyvent waterproofing technology and synthetic Heatseeker liner to keep the wearer snug and dry in wintry conditions.
The fabric is seam-sealed to protect the garment from abrasion, and the front, Velcro-attached storm flap plus integrated wind skirt protect from chilly winds. For comfort, there is a handy hem and waist cinch cord and an adjustable, removable hood. The Parka is a standard fit, which infers that the jacket can be worn casually or, as the name suggests, in the famous Snowdonia area itself.
Two core vents work to keep the body temperature regulated, and the Parka is comfortably lengthy at an 81cm centre back length. An ideal choice if you're planning a blustery Autumn holiday in the hills this year.
