Kendal Mountain Festival

In just over a months time the picturesque town of Kendal will be once more opening it's doors and welcoming the outdoor community. The Kendal Mountain Festival is one of the largest of it's kind and attracts all manner of film makers, TV producers, world class athletes and adventurers. There's plenty to take in as usual, with the mountain film festival being at the heart of the festival. It's attracted film makers from all over the world with over 50 premieres being screened with 10 prestigious prizes up for grabs.

As well as the film competition, there's lectures and literary events to pop along and take in too. British Olympic triathletes Alistair and Jonathan Browlee will be making an appearance as too is avid walker and comedian Ed Byrne!

The Kendal Mountain Festivals aim is to inspire and educate audiences about the world and majesty of the Mountains and wilderness and hopefully producing the next line of intrepid adventurers! The festival celebrates the spirit of exploration and endeavors to promote deep respect for the wild environment. It all takes place the 15th - 18th November, with tickets now on sale!
