The North Face have revamped a reasonable amount of their product range for Autumn/Winter 2008 and have also added a few new products, many of which we'll review over the next few months, but thought we'd give you a quick overview!
The Zenith Triclimate Parka is a new addition to their popular Triclimate range. It's basically a slightly longer, harder wearing version of the Amplitude. We'll put up a longer review of the product once we have a chance to play with one!
The Upland Jacket is again, a slightly longer, harder wearing version of another TNF jacket, the Resolve. It's only 1cm longer in the back, the main difference being the fabric, which is much tougher than the Resolve although it's not that much rougher feeling! It also has pit zips as it's designed to be used for exercise!
The Redpoint Hybrid Jacket was one of the most striking new products we saw in the Autumn/Winter 2008 range. It's a cross between a lightweight insulated jacket and a soft shell jacket designed to be used for tough exercise in cold weather. The body has Primaloft insulation to keep you warm covered with a DWR treated taffeta Nylon fabric and the arms are soft shell, so they have minimal insulation but allow great freedom of movement and can withstand some rough treatment.
As mentioned, we'll get up some decent length reviews of all the new Autumn/Winter 2008 products once we've had a chance to play with them!
