Review: Teva Men's Mush Frio Lace Canvas Shoe

New in over the last month or so is the Teva Men's Mush Frio Lace Canvas Shoe. So I thought I'd get a pair out of stock and give them a bit of a running over.

The first really noticable thing that hits you about the Mush Frio is just how light they are. It's rather akin to wearing plimsolls, but in a much more stylish and comfortable form. A light EVA sole gives you a decent amount of underfoot protection and of course added comfort. Even though the Mush's are so magnificently light, there's still a more than capable sole with ample grip.

The inner sole or as Teva call it the 'Mush' topsole molds to the shape of your feet, it's got a bit of a memory foam feel to it, so not only do they feel incredibly comfortable walking around in them, the padding also gives you a little more protection if you venture out into uneven terrains, although to be fair you wouldn't really want to wear them out hiking, so the lovely padded feel is just a bonus!

The Mush has been constructed with a collapsible design, so they're ideal for taking away with you as you can simply fold them up and stick them in your suitcase, easy peasy.

Looks wise, the Mush Frio has a slick casual design and comes in three funky colours; Dune Beige, Teva Blue and Moonrock. The shoe actually has a stretch mesh collar, which gives you a snug fit, without ever feeling constrictive. You might find yourself attempting to pull a non existant tongue up every time you try and do the laces up though!
